สนามฝึกยิงปืนเพียงหนึ่งเดียวภายในกรุงโรงใหม่ที่ได้รับการขนานนามว่า "แคสโตร บัลลิสตา" (Castro Ballista) ที่แปลว่า "ป้อมปราการแห่งพลธนู" ในภาษาละติน เป็นสถานที่ที่ผสมผสานความสง่างามของสถาปัตยกรรมโรมันโบราณเข้ากับเทคโนโลยีสนามยิงปืนยุคใหม่ได้อย่างลงตัว

ตัวอาคารโดดเด่นด้วยเสาสูงแบบโครินเธียนที่ประดับด้วยลวดลายวิจิตร บริเวณผนังมีภาพแกะสลักเล่าเรื่องราวการต่อสู้ของเหล่านักรบโรมันยุคโบราณ สะท้อนถึงความกล้าหาญและทักษะการรบที่เป็นมรดกตกทอดมาถึงยุคปัจจุบัน
